Political writer: Saudi-Chinese relations span over 2,000 years

Explained by political writer Dr. Faisal Al-Sumairi, the importance of Saudi-Chinese relations, in the context of their extended history.

Al-Sumairi said in an interview with Al-Ekhbariya channel, that Saudi-Chinese relations are not emerging today, but stretch back more than two thousand years.

The political writer further said that these relations began to develop and grow as a product of civilisations spanning a long period of time since the beginning of the ancient Silk Road line.

Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary General Jassem Al-Budawi confirmed that China is the first trading partner of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, with the volume of economic exchange between the two sides exceeding $300 billion.
