Units from the branches of the armed forces are participating in the joint Saudi-Egyptian exercise “Piercing Arrow 2024”, which is being implemented in the Arab Republic of Egypt during the period 09-21 November.
Major General Adel bin Muhammad Al-Balawi, Head of the Armed Forces Training and Development Authority, said that this participation falls under the Armed Forces' training guidance for the training period (1446 AH – 1447 AH) for joint and mixed exercises. To train and qualify members of the armed forces, both inside and outside the State, and to acquire training skills.
He said the armed forces, represented by the Army, Naval Forces, Air Force and Air Defense Forces, are participating in the exercise along with the actual forces.
He explained that the joint Saudi-Egyptian exercise “Piercing Arrow 2024” aims to enhance military cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, develop joint actions and achieve operational coherence between the Saudi and Egyptian armed forces.
