Human resources expert Fouad Fallata said a manager giving advice via email makes the employee feel intimidated.
Fallata said, in an intervention on Al Arabiya FM, that the manager’s role in communicating with and observing employees should include being keen to highlight the employee’s strengths by presenting the employee’s positive aspects and then making the necessary observations.
He further added, the manager's way of advising the employee is the most important criterion in influencing and reaching out to the subordinate so that he can gain the employee's loyalty and then start following him on a continuous basis.
