Wednesday’s exams postponed amid pink alert of heavy rain and hail in Jeddah and Rabigh

JEDDAH — The Schooling Division in Jeddah introduced suspension of lessons in colleges within the governorates of Jeddah, Rabigh and Khulais within the Makkah area on Wednesday amid the issuance of pink alert and forecast of torrential rain and hail hitting these governorates from midnight of Tuesday.

The exams, scheduled to be held on Wednesday, have been postponed. The attendance of female and male workers of colleges and training places of work in these governorates has additionally been suspended, the division mentioned whereas notifying that Wednesday’s exams shall be carried out together with the exams of Thursday.

The Nationwide Middle of Meteorology (NCM) introduced earlier that it had raised the climate warning degree within the Makkah metropolis, Jeddah and 5 different governorates within the Makkah area to pink alert, ranging from 12:00 am tonight till 1:00 pm on Wednesday.
