The operation included 270,097 inspections of transport vehicles within the Kingdom, in addition to 4,011 inspections of foreign vehicles, supervisory teams also carried out 5,077 field visits to land transport facilities, 9,631 inspections of maritime transport activities and 57 visits to train stations. Riyadh city, and railway stations in Dammam and Hofuf, and Al-Jouf and Qurayyat, in addition to railway stations in Mecca and Jeddah.
Field teams were able to monitor 16,322 violations recorded in land transport activities, in addition to recording 4,410 violations through automated monitoring systems, in addition to 39 observations on rail transport activities, 46 violations were recorded.
The authority reported that the compliance rate with land transport regulations during the month reached 94%, while the maritime transport sector recorded a compliance rate that reached 99%. Violations observed in land transportation varied between employing drivers without obtaining professional cards or cards for transportation of hazardous materials, and operation of vehicles without cards, one or other canceled operations, lack of goods transportation documents. , operation of unregistered trucks for internal transportation without authority approval, as well as contracting with unauthorized carriers.
It revealed that the freight transport activity recorded the largest percentage of land transport violations (special transport, general fare and airport fare), and at the regional level, the Riyadh region topped in violations with 7,499 violations, its Next is Mecca al-Mukarrama. area with 6,492 violations, then the Eastern area with 1,865 violations, and finally the Madina area with 1,202 violations.
