The company said the objective of the competition is to educate and empower coffee farmers in the southern region of the state and to empower the participating farmers from Jazan, Al-Baha, Mahayil Asir and Rizal Alma by providing them an opportunity to present their crops to the elite class. The company invited farmers interested to participate in the competition to submit entry forms and coffee samples weighing 1 kg during the period from January 5 to 9, 2025 AD. Farmers who qualify for the second phase will be asked to submit samples weighing up to 25 kg in the first round by January 18, 2025. The competition will involve three rounds of testing and evaluation of coffee samples, where in the first round on January 25, contestants' samples will be tested and evaluated, and 40 contestants will be qualified. Then 20 samples were tested and evaluated in the second round on January 29, followed by 12 samples in the final round on January 30 and the winners will be announced at the International Saudi Coffee Exhibition.
