RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has referred to as for an pressing Ministerial Assembly of the Govt Committee of the Group of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), scheduled for Wednesday in Jeddah, to deal with the escalating army state of affairs and the risk to defenseless civilians in Gaza.
The pressing assembly comes on the invitation of Saudi Arabia, which chairs the present session of the Islamic Summit and the Govt Committee of the Group of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The Group’s Govt Committee will maintain the pressing open-ended extraordinary assembly on the ministerial stage, to deal with the escalating army state of affairs in Gaza and its environment.
Moreover, the assembly will deal with the deteriorating circumstances that endanger the lives of civilians and the general safety and stability of the area.
It’s noteworthy that the extraordinary assembly that may happen on Oct. 18, 2023, might be held on the Basic Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah Governorate. — SG
