Napoli beats Monza by two goals and takes lead in Italian league

Napoli moved top of the overall Italian Football League standings after a 2–0 win over away visitors Monza.

Matteo Politano put Napoli ahead in the 22nd minute and Hvitcha Kvaratskheliya doubled his club's lead with a shot near the penalty point in the 33rd.

Napoli now top the standings with 13 points from six matches and are one point ahead of Juventus, who beat Genoa 3-0 on Saturday.
