The joint exercise “Indus Shield 2024” was launched with the participation of Pakistan Air Force, air forces of the host country, Egypt and Türkiye.
The objective of the exercise is to enhance military cooperation and exchange of experiences between the participating armies, and to enhance the readiness of the Air Force to meet various security challenges in the region. The exercise also contributes to the development of air combat tactics and training on the latest aviation technologies.
The involvement of the Air Force comes within the framework of strengthening military ties with brotherly and friendly countries and enhancing the level of coordination and cooperation in defense areas.
