The Saudi Railways Technical Institute (SRP) announced the start of registration for training in the “Conductor of the Haramain Express Train” program, which lasts one year and ends with work in one of the companies affiliated with operating the Haramain Express Train project.

“SRP” Director Sultan Al-Sultan pointed out that the training program actually starts on November 17, 2024 AD, indicating that the duration of the program is a full year, including 3 months at the institution’s headquarters and 9 months of practical training at the workplace sites of the Haramain Express Train Project, and regarding the reward the trainee receives, he explained that the trainee receives a monthly stipend of 4,000 riyals during the training period. The trainee is also registered as a member of social insurance from the first day an employee is under training, and after graduation he receives a monthly salary starting from 8,000 riyals.
Regarding the general conditions for admission to the program, he said that the applicant must be of Saudi nationality, have a high school diploma with at least 70% grade, and the applicant must not be more than 35 years old, meet the admission criteria and pass the personal interview.
He emphasized that the young national competencies worthy of nationalization actually contribute to the advancement of the railway industry and achieving sustainability in it, they also contribute, with their excellence, to increasing the efficiency and quality of services and achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 vision of transforming the Kingdom into a global logistics hub.
