Communications Authority signed a memorandum of cooperation with India in the regulatory and digital sector

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission, represented by Governor Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al Tamimi, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the regulatory and digital sector with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the Republic of India, represented by Chairman. Anil Kumar Lahoti of the Authority in the presence of Dr. Shekhar Bhimasani, Minister of State for Communications of the Republic of India on the occasion of the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) held in New Delhi, India.

The Memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties through several joint cooperation areas, such as implementing RegTech use cases, and providing joint studies in the area of ​​infrastructure and digital regulation principles.

Both bodies look forward to strengthening the strategic partnership and developing relations between the two countries, as well as to the exchange of information and transfer of knowledge in the communications and technology sector and to benefit from the training programs provided by the Digital Regulation Academy . areas of communication, space and technology to fulfill common interests.
