Board of Grievances chief: Saudi Arabia witnesses qualitative shift in enterprise governance

RIYADH — Dr. Khaled Al-Yousef, head of the Board of Grievances and chairman of the Administrative Judicial Council, stated that Saudi Arabia has witnessed a qualitative shift within the area of enterprise governance within the public sector through the previous 5 years. Delivering a lecture at King Saud College in Riyadh on Tuesday, Dr. Al-Yousef stated that this qualitative shift contributed to auditing and bettering enterprise governance works and following up on the period and prices of their implementation.

Within the speech, he reviewed the truth of governance within the administrative, technical and legislative sectors within the Board of Grievances and the challenges confronted by it. He additionally drew consideration to the phases of transformation that the Board of Grievances had gone by in its pursuit to realize governance.

“The Board of Grievances began governance by adopting judicial, administrative, and operational insurance policies and rules that rely of their mechanisms and practices on the rules of participation, transparency, follow-up, monetary and time auditing, accountability, and codifying with the intention to obtain full justice,” he stated whereas noting that this is without doubt one of the first and most strategic targets of the Board of Grievances.
