According to Dr. Sumaya Al Sharaf, Advisor for Institutional Communications and Media Affairs at Umm Al-Qura University, volunteers are not allowed to go to the field until they are qualified to provide the best service to God’s guests.
He said during an intervention with Al-Ekhbariya channel that numerous rehabilitation and training programs are offered to volunteers in all regions, especially at Umm Al-Qura University.
Al Sharaf pointed out that there is cooperation between Umm Al-Qura University, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to make all workers eligible.
He said that various humanitarian, social, health and engineering programmes are offered depending on the specialisation.
