Dr. Dhaif Allah bin Razin, professor of Saudi history at Imam Muhammad bin Saud University, said the kingdom’s kings made efforts to achieve development and civilizational advancement in all aspects of life.
The history professor said during his interview broadcast on the “Saudi Arabia” channel on the occasion of the Kingdom's 94th National Day, that all the kings of the Kingdom had made great efforts and left a clear mark during the reign of King Saud, may God have mercy on him – in addition to numerous constructions, including the expansion of the two holy mosques, King Saud University, the first military college and the University of Islamic Studies were established.
He said that during the reign of King Faisal – may God have mercy on him – in addition to his call for Islamic unity, a five-year plan was formulated, the era of King Khalid also saw great interest in education, health and other areas, while the era of King Fahd saw the second expansion of the Two Holy Mosques.
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on him – made many efforts and achieved many accomplishments, the most notable of which was the opening of scholarships for Saudi students who returned to the Kingdom and made clear achievements there, the history professor added.
He concluded that, in the era of wise leadership, we are experiencing a modern Saudi renaissance in all fields. In terms of comprehensive growth and development, the Kingdom is also called Lebanon, with the appearance of modern cities (NEOM, Qiddiya), as well as electronic services, with which the Kingdom surpassed many countries in the world.
