Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, Director General of Research and Innovation at the Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification, said there are plants that pose a threat to humans.

Al-Ghamdi said in statements on Al-Ekhbariya channel today, Friday, that some of these poisonous plants are sold in nurseries, indicating that a list of these plants will be announced soon to raise awareness.

He said the most dangerous types of invasive plants are: “Persops,” “prickly pear,” and “Parthenium” are widespread in the state.
