Special Forces for Environmental Protection arrested residents who violated environmental regulations for exploiting sediments in the Makkah al-Mukarramah area.
The forces reported that they have seized (4) pieces of equipment used in crushing and transporting the rocks, which were operated by two residents of Yemeni nationality, one resident of Pakistani nationality and one resident of Somali nationality.
Regular procedures have been implemented against them, requiring them to report any cases representing an attack on the environment or wildlife in the areas of Makkah al-Mukarramah, Riyadh and al-Sharqiya on the numbers (911) and (999) and ( 996) in the remaining areas of the state.
